Clean Climate Municipal Action
Helping rural municipalities in Nova Scotia reduce GHG emissions
Clean has partnered with rural municipalities, the Nova Scotia Department of Energy and Mines, and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities to take action on climate change.
We are helping to increase the capacity, knowledge and skills necessary to reduce GHG emissions in Nova Scotian communities. Partnering with climate change experts, we are working with municipal staff to create a greenhouse gas emissions inventory, set emissions reductions targets, and develop local action plans.
As we identify the key climate change solutions that will work in rural communities in Nova Scotia, we offer workshops, webinars and strategic conversations that enhance municipal capacity in climate change mitigation.
Through this project we are creating tools, training videos, and webinars – available free-of-charge to all communities and organizations.
