Clean Energy & Equity Network
Through increased diversity and inclusionary policies in the energy efficiency and renewable energy sector, building clean energy knowledge and empowering community champions, African Nova Scotian and Indigenous communities will have increased economic and social benefits. Positioning organizations and communities to create opportunities, like jobs and increase energy efficiency.
Membership
Being a member to the Clean Energy and Equity Network will provide communities/organizations:
Knowledge sharing
Access to information and resources compiled through the Network.
Needs assessments for communities
Tools and systems to better understand community challenges and barriers to participate in the clean economy.
Education and Engagement
Access to other communities/organizations taking on similar projects or experiencing similar challenges.
There are three levels of membership, please see below.

Core Member
- Determine the direction of the Network’s work and initiatives.
- Participate in the development of the meeting agenda.
- Attend all network meeting and be engaged in all initiatives.
- Vote on Network matters.
- Support Network tasks and work as required.
Knowledge Member
- Share and receive knowledge and resources.
- Welcome to attend Network meetings but will not be engaged in all meeting or initiatives.
- Request agenda alterations.
Informed Member
- Mailing list to receive Network updates, including activity and opportunities.
