People living on lower incomes should benefit from energy efficiency, save money and feel comfortable year-round. Thanks to the Government of Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia Power, HomeWaming can provide upgrades to qualifying homeowners at no charge! Clean Foundation works on electrically heated homes while Efficiency Nova Scotia looks after non-electrically heated homes. Most homes waste hundreds of dollars each year on energy bills – we can help you save some green
As a partner of Efficiency Nova Scotia, we help deliver the Home Energy Assessment program. For just $199, one of our Certified Energy Advisors will assess your home from attic to basement, provide you with energy efficiency upgrade recommendations, and let you know about all the rebates available to help you save money.
Get cleaner energy for your home – and pay for it at a pace you can afford
Do you want to improve the energy efficiency of your home or install clean energy options, but don’t think you can afford the work? Now you can. If you live in one of seven participating towns & municipalities, you could be eligible for upfront financing. You then pay for the upgrades over a 10-year period, but we’ll see if you can save enough in energy and heating expenses to cover the costs of the retrofits!

Nova Scotia is a leader in financing for home clean energy
Financing home energy projects can be very expensive and presents a barrier to green solutions. Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) programs help homeowners make good environmental choices that actually saves them money. Sean Kelly, Director at Clean, writes about Nova Scotia’s leadership in this field and shares opportunities that can help you protect your home investment.
