Supporting underserved and underrepresented communities in Nova Scotia to enter and succeed in our growing clean economy.

We offer free home energy efficiency upgrades to eligible Nova Scotians

People living on lower incomes should benefit from energy efficiency, save money and feel comfortable year-round. Thanks to the Government of Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia Power, HomeWaming can provide upgrades to qualifying homeowners at no charge! Clean Foundation works on electrically heated homes while Efficiency Nova Scotia looks after non-electrically heated homes. You can speak confidentially about your eligibility by calling 1-855-736-3474 (toll free), or you can apply online today on the HomeWarming website.

Most homes waste hundreds of dollars each year on energy bills – we can help you save some green

As a partner of Efficiency Nova Scotia, we help deliver the Home Energy Assessment program. For just $199, one of our Certified Energy Advisors will assess your home from attic to basement, provide you with energy efficiency upgrade recommendations, and let you know about all the rebates available to help you save money.

Get cleaner energy for your home – and pay for it at a pace you can afford

Do you want to improve the energy efficiency of your home or install clean energy options, but don’t think you can afford the work? Now you can. If you live in one of seven participating towns & municipalities, you could be eligible for upfront financing. You then pay for the upgrades over a 10-year period, but we’ll see if you can save enough in energy and heating expenses to cover the costs of the retrofits!
