The Clean Energy and Equity Initiative will offer three training opportunities. The opportunities will provide the education and skills to participate in the clean economy.
Custom Employment Support Training Bursary
Fill that ‘missing piece’ that is needed to enter the clean economy. Knowledge learned though this opportunity will vary depending on participants need.
Energy Advisors
Develop the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the growing Energy Advisory sector. This seven-month paid training program will take place both virtually and in-person (this may involve travel within Nova Scotia including to Sydney, Cape Breton and expenses will be covered). Individual support is available throughout the program. Applicants must self-identify as an Indigenous person.
Course runs from September 9, 2024 – March 21, 2025.
Community-based training
This opportunity will take place in communities and will work to address the specific clean energy/energy efficiency needs of that community.
